Since M105 is not working with any foam pads, how can I get a wool pad on my Flex? Is this possible?

There's plenty of wool pads with velcro backing?

Purple foamed wool should fit. They make a 6.5" one.

Any links on this? That purple foamed wool sounds like a winner.

AG has them and I think ADS just got them in. Not sure if Phil has them. They are made by LC.

You got it! I should have picked one up yesterday as I placed an order with them.

Thanks everyone! Who is using these and is it a worthy combo with M105?

top of the line is the best price...I just got 3 in this week....I have not used it on the flex as of yet..but interested to see how it would work out..on a rotary they are the nuts...my top wool pad...easy to clean ....wash on the job..spin dry and use again....

once you use them you will say where have you been all my life...lol....they are that good....little trick here....instead of using a spur on them....I use a course tooth brush on them...like a dog grooming brush...with the little metal bristles....I just hit it with that every panel to fluff it and remove any built up polish...works like a charm....

like this one PetEdge: ConairPRO Professional Pin Brush

just hit the pad for a few seconds...you see all the junk come off and fluffs up

TOL = 8.95 ea (best single buy price)

ADS = 8.33/ea if you buy 6 at a time.

Since we know we'll love them, it makes more sense to buy a half dozen at a time ;)

I have the 105, and am going to pick up a PFW on my next order... I have to try it on foam though first... :)

Mine on orange CCS flashed in less than 10 seconds. It completely disappeared into the paint, almost like using EZ Creme Glaze. Cool to see, but useless.

Definitely P1et! I've pretty much deemed my yellow and orange Propel pads useless now since I have the PFW pads but I only have two. Maybe I'll have to order a half-dozen from ADS.

Keep in mind though that M105, in itself, is tricky to learn. Good luck wit that, hehe. I'm still learning it and it is quite the beast to tame.

yup as P1et said...I tried foam on a rotary....it flashed so fast...foam heats a body panel up fast...wool does not....wool runs a bit cooler and gives a little extra work time...the Solo foam was the only foam that worked a bit longer than the LC foam...do not ask why...I am thinking the design maybe..but wool is best for M105....

the first time I used M105 was with a CCS white pad...worked like a champ....was 50 outside also....

    next time used a white pad....was a bit warmer...worked ok....less working time

then used a wool on a rainy high humid day...got like 5-10 secs out of it....first time with wool..

now I just use a foamed wool...drop my speed and works like a champ...same results as 1500rpm's...just pick the M105 off the paint....do not apply directly to the wool...

I played with so many ways and this worked best for me....Wool and 1000 -1100 rpms...

Yep, bought mine from DD a couple of months ago and hang my head in shame for not trying it yet.

Not only possible, but it yields great results. I used the LC purple wool pad with my Flex on a Camaro that was in really bad shape and the results were amazing.
