What steps are absolutely necessary for the coating to bond 100% to the glass? This product has been a hit/miss with me more than any other product I have used. The last time, I prepped the windows as usual by first washing the car, thoroughly claying the glass and drying before application. I didn't do an IPA wipedown before application. It's been a few weeks and the beading/sheeting has completely disappeared as if I never applied the coating to begin with. I usually do the IPA wipedown if I had a different LSP before the Wolfs, but I had the Wolfs glass coating on there before and didn't think it was necessary to do it this time since I was reapplying the same product.
In the past, I have clayed, cleaned with Megs Glass Cleaner, then wipe down with Eraser. Is still beading after 5 months or so
Not to happy with this product did everything like the video said and tried how the bottle says todo it. The results where the same on all 3 cars only lasted for a couple days. Getting very frustrated with this product not sure what else todo. I will say though the Rim shield is amazing stuff still working great after 4 months wish the glass sealant worked as good. Todd
Hmm, not sure what's going on with it, but if you apply it correctly the only way to remove it is with cerium oxide polish and a rayon pad... It's a chemical bond, but it does need to be "forced" a bit into the glass!
Ya not sure ether I' ll keep trying. I' m putting pressure when applying so not sure what's happening.
