Hi guys! Here's some pictures of the detail day we had out in Manchester last week! Enjoy Went to bed pretty late on Thursday night and woke up way too early (0430) on Friday. I was supposed to meet Tim @ Envy and Krisz (chch) at 0800 for breakfast, but after going outside and realizing I'd forgot to set my clock back an hour I spat out a "f**k" and some other 4-letter words I decided to take some pictures of the horses at the farm... next to our hotel. First thing's first: Wheels and tires! It seems that the wheels on JBirchy's new car (very nice indeed) hadn't seen too much love in the past 3 years, so Deironizer came in well handy and we even played with a new, super-top secret wheel cleaner that The Wolf whipped up the day before I left . I'll fill you guys in on that one later :thumb: The tires were also cleaned thoroughly and we tried our best to remove the old tire dressing with APC and a stiff brush, but it just wouldn't give... and that was the "old" version of WO-1N... the new version should be available soon, which is even better! The wheels on a Ford mini van that was there were looking pretty sad... the owner said that haven't been properly cleaned since he got it in January. No way?? Deironizer V3 applied and left to work its magic... Left there for about 3 hours to bake in the sun and then rinsed. One hit, zero agitation. Still some heavy pitting, but with a couple more hits and brush action, came out quite nice Here's me giving Jon's paint a proper lashing... Notice the angle of the polisher and how the pad is compressed. I'm really laying into this paint like it owes me money and doesn't want to pay up!! And it was much deserved. A lot of people are reluctant to use high speeds and pressure because they fear burning the paint. In order to overcome that fear you have to push things and find the limits (and have a good insurance policy if you go too far ). On hard VAG and ceramic paints you can either polish all day or MANHANDLE it and get it done. On this particular paint, we successfully got one part of it looking great, but that was after several hits with EVERYTHING we had. We later found out that his bonnet was resprayed and let me tell you, it was as hard as diamonds!! The only thing that will get this respray perfect is wet-sanding, compounding and lots of refining. It's a one-day job, no questions about it! Chch having a go at it while I wiped the sweat from my forehead Letting JBirchy get an idea of what he's going to be up against soon  A friend of the boys @ Shinearama stopped in for a quick repair on his truck. Had some deep scratches on the bumper so we decided to make it look right again. Didn't take the scratches all the way out, as the paint on these bumpers is way too thin to do so, but you can't see the scratches now and it looks a million times better! My Envy himself getting in on the action! Treating some worn and stained trim with Wolf's Trim Coat 50/50 Jon is starting to get an idea of what it takes to refine dinnerware... I mean, his suck-hard paint ! Me having another bash at it! I think this is the reason I slept so bad that night... No, I'm sure of it. Applying the latest version of our new scratch-resistant sealant. My boy Alfie taking some pics Now we're getting somewhere... after countless hits! JBirchy finishing application of the sealant on the other side My Popeye impression... One of the coolest beading pics I've ever seen... And the second coolest one I've ever seen! Nice shots Krisz!!! Applying "The Mask" to the wing Parts of it starting to dry as Jon applies our new tire gel! Well that's all folks! A very big thank you to Phil and the Shinearama team for having me again and an especially big thanks to all that attended! I hope to see you all again soon!! - Jesse
