I've got a Belkin router that I have hard wired into my Xbox 360, but when I try to connect my laptop wirelessly to the router, it doesn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

did you switch on your wireless on your laptop, usually a button on the right side.

    or

you have to go into your wireless router's configuration...you probably disable your wireless setting.

what about the access settings? is it set up so that it just needs a password, or do you need to set MAC address permissions? also, as stated above, is your wireless activated...both on your laptop and router?

you should verify the settings on the router - your post is not very specific about what is not working.

if you cant see the router, check to ensure the SSID is discoverable.

if you can't connect, verify any permission settings..

A wireless router is a device that performs the functions of a router but also includes the functions of a wireless access point. Wireless routers usually use the Wi-Fi standard. There are five major wireless router manufacturers they are Apple Inc, Belkin, Buffalo Technology, D-Link, Linksys, Netgear, TP-Link, ZyXEL Communications Corp.
