i want to start off by saying i in no way altered these photos. i just finished this detail and uploaded the pics straight from my camera, and in some of them i could see how someone might think they are altered, but i assure you, they are not. i wouldnt even know how to begin to enhance photos in such a manner. anyways.... this was a winter prep (exterior only) detail i did for a local guy over on audizine. the car is a B7 A4 S-Line 6 Speed. VMW wheels and Miltek turbo back exhaust. the car is a daily driver, and will be outside all winter, so the owner wanted her ready for the elements. the car was in ok shape, but had a lot of tar up and down the side skirts and lower panels, as well as in random spots throughout. the car was sealed from head to toe (including glass, wheel faces, and exhaust tips). hopefully he'll be booking for a correction in the spring! that looks awesome billy ... no correction?? 845 topped with lusso oro looks good. btw ... seems like the gti is getting neglected there ... looks grey in the pics ... lol j/k
nice results. photoshop does wonders jk. Guy must like german cars - can see the merc and vw in the background.
thanks tom! thanks gianni. yeah no correction this go around. probably in the spring though. and yes the GTI does look exactly that. gray. its that dirty. and im leaving it like that til the meet. you should see the passenger side. its got mud splattered all over it lol. thank you. thanks man. thanks dave i appreciate it. this is actually at my parents house where i work out of, and i have all of my equipment and supplies setup in their garage. i dont have a garage at my place so i work out of theirs :thumb: thank you. the mercedes is actually my moms and the GTI is mine. many thanks. thank you. i got most of the larger tar deposits off in the initial wash stages with zep citrus. then the rest of it was removed by claying and with 3M adhesive remover. thanks man. thanks kyle. yeah the lusso over 845 came out looking fantabulous. i wanted to use petes 53, but i havent used lusso in a while so i figured why the hell not. and dont worry, i have no desire to get into your pockets. thanks boss man.
LOL ... that dirty GTI sounds mean with the AWE exhaust this dude got from work ... you know the usual "perks" ... lol
thanks ken. isnt the GTI disgusting? hasnt been washed in like a month, been getting a lot of rain, and i got stuck in the mud on halloween night. and im still not touching it til next weekend. embarassing? maybe, but i just dont have the time.
