Wind Deflector with swirls

Is there a proven way to remove swirls/light marring from one of those tinted plastic wind deflectors put on the front of a vehicle. I know plexus hides them a little but of course doesn't remove them.
I've used chrome polish on taillights and side markers with considerable succes but not sure if the tinted deflectors will react the same way before i try it (on someone else's car).
How would Megs cleaner'polish combo be?

I hit it lightly with whatever I am using on the paint.
