wifey got home early today so i figured i would give her car a once over....i did a winterizing about a month ago(wash, clay, SIP/EGP, Coli 476s) and figured i would wash it and add another coat or two of Colli to it today.....

    todays order of business:

foam with the Gilli - Hyperwash(didnt feel like draggin out the Cam Spray and PW)

get the bugs and crap off the front with Megs body solv(first time using it...worked OK smells great)

megs APC @ 5:1 cleaned the wheel wells and wheels(hubcaps)

megs apc 5:1 in the jambs

wash with Two Buckets using hyperwash

dry with the leave blower and Megs Waffle weaves

waxed with Colli 476s (By Hand) X2 - this was my first time waxing by hand...the colli was fairly soft and i always wanted to try it....it actually worked great and i think it looks better than it did last time i did it.....

Rejex on the front bumper and headloghts (to try and keep the bugs from stickin)

full wipe down with Last touch

tired dressed with Megs Hyperdressing 1:1

    hubcaps waxed with Wheel wax

interior wasnt bad so a quick vaccum and wipe down with APC

glass cleaned with ZEP glass cleaner

engine wiped down with a MF as it was still clean from last time....

now this car is her company car which we were able pick the color and order new(pearl White)....un fortunetly it was delivered from OHIO (driven) through a snowstorm and washed at the local coin Op by the driver who dropped it off...when he called saying he was on his way and was just going to stop off and wash the car i begged him not to....he had to as per his company policy....i was pissed because he nicely installed some Rids and misc scratches which i pointed out to him upon delivery.....i did a light correction on it in january when we got it so it loks Ok but my wife is kind hard on it.....i am going to wait until spring to do a full correction on it....also i found a nicely dented rocker panel and scraped door...she says she has no idea what happened...:shead:

here arte the pics...the sun went away right as i was finishing...camera battery was dead so no befores.....

weird houses.....all of the houses across the street from me are totally different not one of them is the same.....some big some small....on my side they are all exactly the same aside from the modifications people have madeto them like dormers and stuff......

great neighborhood though....everyone is super friendly and aside from the minor issues that any block has we love it......plus we are on the water so that makes it great since i am a big time boater.....

wow thats so awesome, I wish my alley was a water body... Just quick question I've always wondered but never asked. How does the Megs Hyperwash compare to the Gold Class Carwash if you've tried it. Also, with the Megs Hyperdressing on the tires, how is the durability of it? Or more so longevity.

i never used gold class but i can say that hyperwash works great compared to the Malco wash i was using.....i bought it when i got my Cam Spray foamer because people recomended it for foam lances.....it does foam nicely and smells great too....my neighbors love the foaming and the scent......

as far as hyperdressing goes i will let you know on the longevity....its a new product for me so i figured i would use her car as a guinea pig for it....its supposed to rain tomorow and we have about 60 miles to drive so we shall see.....

i wanted to try it because i am trying to narrow down my dressing selection so i can use one dressing for alot of different things....just different dilution ratios...hopefully it works....

Sorry to hear about the cars little adventure. Stuff like that really pushes my buttons. It's probably a good thing to wait until spring for a full correction now anyway. Like you said. That is a very nice car though and it came out real good. I love white. I will be interested in seeing your Blazer too. Is your garage big enough to work in? I can't tell. If it is thats a big bonus. I love mine.

I do think the those poor poeple acroos the street live in a box. One of my friends lives in a box too. I'm glad I don't. Cause people like me would make fun. It must be so awsome to walk out your back door and hop into the boat.

Real nice detail and write up. looking forward to more. Thanks for sharing...:thumb:

yeah i would be pissed about the rocker panel if it was OUR car but since its the companies i am not as pissed...:chillpill:....and i have to give her credit with the amount of mileage she drives that sha rarely if ever damages haer cars...

i hear ya loud and clear about the BOX across the street.....luckily thats the only one on the block like it....

my garage is big enough to do corrections in but right now i have alot of stuff in there that has to come off the side walls to give me more room....one of these days i am going to get a new shed(old one got wrecked) and take my garage back....and the real pain in the azz is that if i want to pull a car in the garage i have to move the boat trailer....

tehe trailblazer is the marroon one in the street in one of the photos....its in reasonable shape but could reallu use a correction since its my work truck and it gets a little abused...i am usually careful washing that but i tend to get a litle lazy with it.....its a great color with some nice flake in it...i cant wait to see that one done.....i think if the weather holds out i may document a correction on My boat as well in the near future....its super clean now but has some buffer trails in the gelcoat....i would love to get them outta there....
as far as getting o the boat whenever i want yeah its great...we love it....
