I wanted to show possibly some new guys a little bit about how I clean a car, but really didn't achieve it after looking through all the pics. I have some decent wash pics, but nothing inbetween for interior, jambs, seals, tires..those process magically just happend..LOL.

Started off this morning with a good wash, and then on to the cleaning part.

    Wash:
    DG901
    Proline Grout sponge
misc sponge to scrub windshield and headlights
    Two buckets, one grit guard

    Wheels:
    Megs NXT wash
Megs Apc 4:1 wells and tires
    EZ brush
    various brushes

    Jambs:
    Demoted MF
Optimum Instant Detailer and Gloss Enhancer
    Megs #40 on seals

    Glass:
    Excel WW
    Meguiars detailers line glass cleaner

    LSP:
    RBOE
Wiped off with Megs Ultimate Wipe, and buffed with "no name" from DD

Ok, so now for my wacked out pics..I'm sure you can make out the process

I think we both need lessons on how to take pictures during details. I usually get so involved in the detail that I forget to take before and during pictures. I always, however, get afters! lol

There was a Ford Edge in the showroom while we were buying this one, the same color..the color in the showroom was amazing, and I think now with the RBOE the flake is where I wanted it to be, I am very happy with the product, but think in spots I applied it too thick, it just smeared everywhere taking it off, and took alot of buffing, but when done, well worth it..

thats for sure..I need to take a class while I'm in college on taking pictures, but for me I would first need to upgrade our camera from the crappy Nikon L18 we have now, I want atleast a Nikon D40..

I've got a D60 with a bunch of lenses that I have no idea how to use correctly..lol

One day I will take the initiative and learn it.

Nice detail. It really does look great and that color blue is really sharp. All in all you did a super job on the pictures and write up. If it was easy anyone could do it. Heck, I can't even post a picture. I say keep up the good work and keep the threads comming. Way to go...:thumb:

I use a gas power leaf blower too...:thumb:

Haha sorry, just lookin out for you. I think it might leave some sort of exhaust vapor that might interact with the LSP. Food for thought, don't know if it's proven or not.

RBOE is really nice, will need a few more applications to get the process down right..it was weird taking off..Does it need to set up? It just smeared around on the hood when I took it off, just took some extra buffing...I'm sure I just probably put it on too thick..

I really wanted the new 2010 Fusion..but wife had to have this one NOW!!!!
