Every time there is a thread about a wax i DONT have, I feel the urge to want to buy it. Example: Dodo juice wax thread....I went ahead and bought the favorite four sampler. Now the fuzion vs. supernatural thread....makes me want to pull the trigger on the BOGO at Autogeek.

Like i dont have enough waxes already, there just SOOO tempting!!!!

Anyone else with my problem? lol

I might start waxing random cars so I can test all the stuff I have bought during the past 6-8 months. I perform wax tests on my vehicles and that's the reason why I'm constantly buying/trading waxes ... There are only a few waxes that have caught my attention ... reaffirming the fact that is all about proper surface prepping/polishing.

I do have to admit that I have finally learned how to distinguish a true sealant from a nuba.

for the record i picked up a tub of Fuzion and really like it.
compared to the DoDo SN , White something i like fuzion 100% more. the dodo samples (SN included) i now just use on my wheels, when i actually put stuff on them.

it is super easy to take off even when i didn't realize the back of my black audi was in the sun with the wax cooking it still buffed off no issues.

hahaha same here, and i get super excited when it's a cheap LSP......oh its only 20 bucks, yeh add it to the cart

and ive pretty much got an LSP from every manufacturer now.....well except the rebrands like Vic Wax and Worlds Best Wax/RaceGlaze, etc

oh and the matching pre-wax cleanser - i cant buy an LSP now without their cleaner or glaze

once my new order lands ill post up my supplies

i used to be that way, but I am so picky, that theres no point in it anymore. I only have a couple waxes I want, but they can wait.

Reading about them doesn't make me want to buy them usually. My problem is that I don't know anything about a lot of the waxes being talked about so as soon as I see someone posting about a new one I go nuts trying to find out everything I can about it.

A lot of it is hype. I'd be completely content sticking with the Collinite range for the rest of eternity. If I feel the need to have a "summer" wax, I use Lusso or Natty's red. I just don't see the need for expensive waxes. The only reason I'd consider it would be to upscale price it in a business, which I don't run. Of course, spray waxes/sealants are perfect for door jambs and the lot. AJT is a great LSP and tool.

It is like beers and wine. All sorts of varieties at various price points.

Some use different products just because they can ..not because they need to.

I talked to both David from Victoria Wax and Frank from Worlds Best wax and each assured me they they are not a rebrand of each other. Frank manufactures his own product line (not too far from me), and David said because they are the same color and same country of origin doesn't mean they are the same. As for Raceglaze... No idea, but I never seen a green wax before.

    (Sorry to refuel the addiction)

As much as i would like to, I'm gunna have to pass and pass on my addiction too lol. I need to spend that 25 on other products, namely a clay bar and some pads.

BUT, i'm glad i'm not the only one who feels the urge sometimes!

Definitely have this problem myself. Hit Autogeek last weekend for the waffle towels - end cart was over $100. I can't visit their site or CG without losing $100 or more.

And here I thought this might be a cheap hobby for me to take up :p
