Who all is planning on getting the Ipad 3?

I've been waiting to get an Ipad for a while now. I was planning on getting the Ipad 2 several months ago and then I heard that the new Ipad 3 was going to be released this year and was going to be a lot better. I've been reading that Apple is going to announce the Ipad 3 on March 7th. I can't wait, so who else is planning on getting one of these?

 

We are for sure. Hope the predictions of the new Retina display and new processor are true. Looking forward to the announcement this week.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Siri. I hope they iron out the kinks with it. Most of the time ours either doesn't understand us or she says she cant help us at this time.

 

Yes, I am getting the iPad 3. Been waiting long enough now!

 

Eventually I would like to get it, also need to get the new iPhone but don't know if I should wait for the new one.

hope they do some cool stuff with the iPad 3, i have the 2 and its been awesome, great for school and anything else i need it to do.

 

I'm ordering as soon as it becomes available. I've been using my first gen iPad since day one and could really use some performance upgrades. My 2 year old will get my hand me down. lol.

 

Im holding out for the smaller version, I had the first Ipad, I found it to be rather big for my uses.......... I like the TAB 10.1 size.

 

My first Gen ipad is holding out perfectly well. I think apple is just milking the ipad.

 

I think having the better screen and processor is frosting on the cake.....

But really I've just never had the spare cash for a tablet... Between my 4" Android phone and my 12" laptop, I've never felt like I needed to spend the extra cash for something that's just halfway between two devices I already have.

 

Whats this new "retina" display?

I'm thinking about picking up a Ipad2 from someone who's GOTTA have the 3.....and then use it to show potential clients my work.

 

I'm with, big fan of android, simply because I like how all controls are layed out. I like the idea of a tablet but never felt that I really need one. I have car payments to make.

 

From what I read the Retina and the Super AMOLED are pretty close, my SGS2 and my Iphone4s look almost identical, but the SAMOLED is more vivid...............

 

Not buying. Got the ipad2 as a gift from walmart. Not really impressed. Although i would like to pick up a macbook for school

Make sure it's a really good price... Otherwise check out the referbished units from Apple. They are repaired, come with new front glass, rear case, and full warranty, basically you're getting a new unit at a discounted price right from Apple.

 

I never thought that I wanted an iPad before...but my computer has recently gone on the fritz so my boyfriend lent me his iPad 2 for the week...and I have to say it has really made me want one. I like it for class and such, it's really clever. Of course, I don't have the spare cash for a new iPad, nor will I have it any time soon.

 

I was going to sell my ipad2 and get the ipad3. I decided against it and instead decided to buy other toys...

I'm happy with my decision as the "new iPad" (apple does no call it the ipad3?) has been compared to the iPhone 4s in the sense that the "new iPad" should be called the ipad2s....

Don't get me wrong, looks like a GREAT machine but not great enough for me to sell my iPad 2 to upgrade.

For those like Piet who have held off awhile and are getting it for the first time, you will love it! It will change the way you surf the net....at least it has for me!
