Hi, i am looking for a decent blower that could get rid of dust, and the remaining loose water. What are things to take note for a decent blower, for example the minimum power, connector for the blower tip etc...

I am looking at the Bosch blower. Any comments on this?

I think that is the same one as the CG one, i would stay away from gas powered any electric one would work so stick with the lightest

I've got a Ridgid shop-vac that can be broken down into a blower. It's great - two tools in one.

Before I started to detail again. I already had an Echo PB-200 gas hand held blower. I use It with out any problem. Couldn't justify buying an electric one just to dry cars. I feel that you don't hold long enough to get that heavy. If you are a mobile detailer It just might come in handy. I don't disagree with any other opinions out there. This is just mine...:thumb:

My use for the blower is actually more for dusting rather than drying(still using AG polish and dust like hell). I bought a makita UB1100 2 days ago and used it today. It is a very handy unit but it could only take out 70% of the dust on the panel and 20% of the dust on the window. Still end up using mf cloth to wipe off the remaining but at least it helps to save me a few mf cloth. However, it takes off water pretty well.
