I am looking for taps/spigots for my gallon jugs. I currently have a few from US Plastic but they are not self venting thus the flow is not very good as it starts to glug. I have seen a few vented ones from Griots Garage but they are something like $3-4 a piece. Does anyone know were to find some vented taps that wont kill me on the price or shipping cost. For Ref: Non Vented: Quick Serve Spigots - US Plastic Corporation
Dont really like the pumps all that great, I have one but dont like trying to get the liquid in bottles, always spill some when doing it. With the spout its just tilt the jug, put bottle under opening, open tap and then close. Oh well, I got 5 more from US plastics and thinking of putting a small hole in the top of the jug and putting a plug in it that I can take out to let air in the bottle when pouring.
Would also like to know, I'm getting ready to organize my gallon sizes on some new shelves and these would come in handy.
Got a link or something, I cant seem to find a Megs tap on there site or where retailers were megs is sold online. I see they have a 5 gallon tap.
Nah that's a pump, hes looking for like a "tap." Like he has pictured here but the container is up right. ]
hey do not know if you will like my idea but what about the soap dispensing bottles. My wife buys the 1.5 gallon or so of clothing detergents and those comes with a venting dispenser. if you have a chemical jug then move some stuff around and put the soaps in that jug and the other stuff in the gallons with better quality dispensers. besides we all need clothing detergents. just thought it might work. it works for me.
