    Like the title says ...

I'm looking to buy 2 pump sprayers. Where can I buy these things? Are the ones sold at home depot/lowes ok to use with APC's and SCG's Grime Destroyer?

    TIA,
    G

what kind of pump sprayer? Anyone got pictures? I got one that i believe was from lowes as well for like $12 or something with a metal tip instead of the plastic tipped one. Problem is i wish it had a mist setting . . . . . you use a lot of product with these things which can be bad. I use mine only for Wheel Brightener to get behind the spokes and what not.

I got mine at Home Depot in the garden center, under 20 bucks, works great.

I once bought two 64oz pump sprayers from Home Depot for $7 each (plus tax) but when I went back to get more they didn't have them anymore.

I know Lowe's still sells them, so when you check either store, you will find them in the gardening section, and perhaps in the cleaners/cleaning tools section.

You just have to watch out for the gel products like P21S Gel...anything too thick and the standard ones won't spray them out correctly, if at all.

Also, watch your consumption. The pump-up sprayers use up product REAL fast...I usually use mine by pumping it up and then quickly pressing the trigger on and off repeatedly in bursts, and I only use cheap products in there like diluted APC or soap/water mixtures.

I guess it would come to what your intended use will be for them. I know you gave us a few examples but like others said you might end up using a lot of product in them. I could see you using the one with the wand for apc's to get up into wheel wells or spraying a presoak product. The small hand pump type I could see you using for clay lube or just wheel cleaners.

I wouldn't use a product like WB in either one bc it would be hard or a pain to flush the sprayer with water when done.

I don't know that the ones from us plastics would be any better then the ones from lowes, especially bc the lowes sprayers have metal tips and are a third of the price.

    Good luck with your purchase.

I picked mine up about 2 months ago from Home Depot for $7 and they had a lot on the shelf in the gardening sections. They also have the larger units with the hose attachments. I would check there before ordering online. You will save on shipping and probably spend less on the sprayer also.

These are exactly the ones Home Depot sells for $7 each. I have 2 of them, the rest of my pump sprayers are from Chapin. I was just at Home Depot this morning to pickup some Zep Citrus and I looked for them just for reference but couldn't find them...my local HD is always moving their stuff around and I didn't bother to ask anyone.

I had an excuse to go to HD today (LOL) and got 3 hand sprayers like the ones pictured. They have updated the bottles and they are now green and black and no big letters on plastic bottles. Can't wait to try them out.

With the update did they switch over to a metal tip or still plastic?

The pump sprayer links that were included on this thread and the one I got have plastic tips. I rather have plastic tips ... less chance of scratching the paint if a mishap happens.
