I'm not sure if it is actually dry or not but it seems when I use Sticky Gel it looks like it is drying on the wheel. Is this bad? I've read things about people letting the wheel cleaners dwell on the wheels for like 10-15 minutes but I can't see this actually being safe with it drying on. I might try and mix up a combo of CWC and Sticky Gel to make it actually more like a gel.

?????? As long as it doesn't stain the wheel, I think you're ok. Mixing it with a soap may allow it to set for a longer period of time

Is it only a P21S Gel property that it can soak on the wheels for a while?

p21s gel dries up on me too. i simply mist water on it and it sort of "reactivates"

how long are you leaving the gel on? i think p21s gel says it can be on up to 20 minutes. then pressure wash it afterward.

i use a sprayer with some water in and as i am brushing the wheel i add a little water to it. works ok for me.

I don't leave it on for that long. I do 2 wheels at a time. I spray one, then the other. then normally go right back to the first wheel and start agitating. If it's not working great, I step back for a couple minutes. If it does start to dry, I hit it with the hose real quick (like 1/2 second) just to rewet the surface.
