I have been using my rubbermaid paint brush for a while but I would like to cover the metal with a wide rubber band. Anyone know of such a thing? the bristles are extremely stiff and long. I have used Megs slide and lock and it is useless compared to this. Maybe a vacuum band of some sort?

Wrap the metal band with a few layers of duct tape. Thats what I do with my paint brushes. And I agree with you on the slide lock brush.

I've used duct tape as well, with no problems.

I suppose if you wanted to, you could buy the colored stuff so it doesn't look so "hack-ish" :p

Try the stuff you can spray or dip to coat metal ,that cures to a rubber effect.

Black duct tape, silly man, not silver!!:thumb: And if your clients ask why you taped it up, you can explain so you don't nick anything. Now you're a hero.
