There's billion of threads asking what everybody's favorite LSP is. I thought it'd be interesting to ask something different (I hope)
    So...
For whatever reason what is your least favorite LSP (wax or sealant) and why.

I haven't tried a lot of waxes but I've gotta say Autoglym High Definition Wax.
I really like the shine this wax leaves but it is such a PAIN to apply correctly. When I apply Pinnacle Signature Series II the stuff just melts into the paint. It spreads very easily with very little effort. The Autoglym on the other hand goes on kinda hard and thick. It spreads very well but you have to really rub hard to get the stuff to spread. To spread Signature Series II you just wipe and it spreads. To spread High Definition wax you rub and rub and rub and rub. i was actually moving my Rav4 back and forth at one point just trying to get this stuff to go on thin & not wast product. I just put this stuff on my Rav4 and I was about ready to find a cliff to jump off before I was even half finished. I feel like I just waxed A fleet of buses.

Nu Finish lol. Seriously though I don't really like Liquid Glass, it has good durability but like you said with HD, it's more difficult to apply than I like.

I still have to figure out Vic's red. It streaks when I try to buff off. There's a little learning curve with it. I just haven't had a chance to experiment with it much.

s100, i felt like it didn't add or subtract anything from the paint, and coupled with the fact that everyone raves about it, i wasnt impressed

2nd would be meguiars nxt that stuff attracts more dust than my carnaubas!

Anything Mothers is my least favorite, I can add P21s 100% to this as well since it really didn't impress me at all in any way, shape, or form which is surprising since I normally find at least one thing I like in a wax.

I would add HD autoglym too ... It has AWESOME beading but, it's a royal pain to apply it.

I'm finding Autoglym HD to be one of the easier on and off waxes for the look and durability it gives.

The least favorite for me is autobalm. I have to say autoglym hd is pretty easy to apply. Are you guys applying it with a damp applicator, as per the instructions? If not, I could see why its more difficult. It went on like butter for me when I used it for the first time.

I tried giving the (microfiber) applicator a few sprays of detail spray (Blackfire Gloss Spray) and I tried blasting the living daylights out of the applicator w/detail spray. Same results. I tried completely saturating the applicator with water and then wringing it out and it still didn't help at all. I'm beginning to wonder if I didn't get a bad jar?
Or maybe it just doesn't work well with microfiber applicators (which is all I've got )

I wouldn't recommend using spray wax to moisten the applicator. It also could be that you're using MF apps, but I've never tried HD with one. Didn't you get the pre-moistened foam apps with the wax? Could also be that you might be using too much wax on the app, or the blackfire is reacting adversely with the wax. I only needed one or two swipes of wax per panel on the foam app and it went on great.

Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray isn't a spay wax it's a quick detail spray/sealant.
    BLACKFIRE Deep Gloss (Spray) Sealant
I also tried water so the quick detail spay isn't the problem.
My HD wax came with the applicator but mine was dry and hard especially around the edges.
I'm really beginning to think this wax just doesn't like microfiber...

I tried applying HD with my bare hands, even that was not hard buffing off, and pretty fun applying it on...

I think it just doesn't like microfiber. I'll try some foam applicators next time I go to Autozone or place an order w/somebody.

Takes about 3hrs for one good coat, which I simply don't have time for most of the time, if you leave it on even a second too long it transforms into a huge grizzly bear, and you're trying to put a tutu on it, ie you will struggle like hell to get the remaining bhab removed.

It's just never been a pleasant experience for me. I used it on a my wife's car once and a customer's once also and found myself arguing with it. Plus, Ken was BBMing and distracting me while I was applying it :p

I find it quicker than applying traditional waxes/sealants that must haze...

I do a small area at a time and do not let it sit long before wiping off.. No problems... I think we can blame this one on Ken:bla2::bla2::bla2::bla2::p:

The only reason I am mentioning this is because it really is a neat product that I have had great luck with.... Haven't used it this season yet as I use it mainly for its great durability and so far this year all I have done is garage queens...

For my tastes, it would have to be the blackfire midnight sun nuba. The look and durability didn't impress me at all! I went with the fire over ice combo and just wasn't feeling it. Maybe i'm just spoiled with using SV or something?:shead:

application was fine easy on easy off especially on top of the BF paint sealant, but especially here in Hawai'i's climate, it didn't last long at all about three weeks. I was thinking about giving it a second chance and just doing a couple coats of it by itself but I said ah screw it...i'm going back to SV lol
