Im looking for a new tire brush and I was wondering what is everyone else using. I was looking into the griots garage brush.
Any stiff bristled brush for tires in bad shape. For ones that aren't all gummed up, I like the Swissvax Wheel brush (older one) with the bristles chopped down about 40%...works amazing.
Voter Nbr-4 for the Tuff-shine Tire Brush --- Inexpensive, just the right length and width for a tire brush, perfectly sized and angled, handle, scrubs tires great, right length bristles, no scratching of wheels, I use them up, throw them out, and pick up another one. Dont know if Phil has them - if he does, buy one ! If not, Detailed Image has them last I looked.. Dan F
Tire dressing always destroys my tires brushes cause i do some dirty cars. I just use whatever generic one I can get my hands on. I got a few from CG and 3D cause they are both relatively close. This guy also sells stiff brushes at the performance swap meet. In a pitch I have gotten the Pep Boys or Auto Zone ones and they are ok also. As long as the bristles are stiff, you are good to go for good tire scrubbing. Once they get black and nasty, i just toss them and grab a new one. For me tire brushes are disposable, so they come and go and I try them all lol
Not joking: pop down to your Sherwin Williams store. Found the most amazing tire brush there when I was picking up paint a few months ago.
LMAO Thats why you are my friend.I reread what I typed. Yup,if this were paintball,Id be lying on the ground in a rainbow of colors. Damn
The tuff shine brush is really good ... I just found the same brush at my local NAPA today. The only difference is the bristle color (white instead of clear). The brush is made by Lainer (spelling?).
This, same as Tuff Shire but less $$ http://www.chemicalguys.com/THE_NIFTY_BRUSH_INTERIOR_CARPET_AND_UPHOLSTERY_DE_p/acc_g21.htm
