Currently the 3 sealants I like are einszett Glanz and FMJ Glanz for the durability and look FMJ for the easy of use and durability Opti Seal for the easy of use and quickness and economics Let me know what you guys like...
Durability is my #1 when it comes to sealant, its the only reason I use them. Second would have to be how it works with nuba wax's as I 95% of the time top sealants with a wax so it would nice to know the sealant will last when under a layer of nuba. Main sealant I use now is FK1000P
Take blackfire afpp, make it as easy to remove as Jetseal 109. Make it not smear when nuba's are applied over the top. and that's my sealant. In order to not make nuba's smear over afpp, you have to let them sit forever.. which is what some nuba's don't allow. Also, if you don't buff it off at the exact right time, it'll either smear from not curing enough, or be concrete. But the look is absolutely incredible. I'm almost out of it, and I haven't even had it 6 months because I put it on EVERY customer car pretty much.
Oh, I thought you were going to be trying to make one.. or parner with a company like you did lusso. Nevermind I like Blackfire AFPP
Looking for durability & ease of use ... & will top with carnauba wax ... I use DG 105 and love it ... how about colli 845? i thought its sealant ...
durability is a close second to ease of use. While durability to no doubt important in a sealant, I will not use products I have to fight with
Durability, Easy of use & appearance are all equally important to me I could care less what it smells like
A sealant that doesn't have that hard candy shine. More glow and depth like a nuba, but better durability than a nuba.
I like my experiences with DG105 and Opti-Seal. I have AJT too but haven't tried it out yet. I think my #1 priority with sealants is certainly durability followed closely by ease of use. A difficult to use product, especially for enthusiasts, is a big turnoff.
Most polymer a durable if there is no oil / water present until after they cross-link. I would look for ease of application and a 'warm' look as opposed to a plastic wrap finish (this is highly subjective , so I have no scientific / technical explanation for it) M current favourite polymer is G-Techniq a Nanotechnology polymers, I have only just started using this product so its durability is an unkown at this time. They also have a protective covering product that I'm anxious to try ( G-Techniq Crystal Lacquer 3S )
Perfect timing for this Phil. I have always loved the warmth and depth of Nuba over the plastic high shine of sealants but for exposed winter months in the North East you need the durability of a sealant. I'm looking for durability and a deeper, less shine look. If it could be "compatible" or able to be toppd with a carnuba without effecting either's durability or bonding would be great. Always feel like I'm wasting Concorso when putting it over Glanzwax or Zaino.
I liked FMJ because its easy to use, and can be layered for high durability. So in a sealant, durability is first, then ease of use. and since i only use a sealant duringwinter time. the shine isn't as important. And smell, i could care less.
For me, its ease of use. How easy it is to apply not needing to wait so long for it to cure and layer. I used to value durability but with my bad luck with bird droppings, I need to re-apply often
Maybe it's just me but when I think sealant I instantly go to durability, don't really care about ease of application or removal just durability...but that's just me
