Got a guy that called me and said he has a semi-truck that wants the engine powerwashed off and his six wheels polished.

What do you guys think is a fair price?

Does it really have to be powerwashed? Most engines only really need an APC/degreaser spray down, agitation, and rinse. I'm not sure how much polishing his wheels would need.

I think it would be fair to just charge per hour. I would do at least $30/hour.

    How bad are the wheels?

Charge hourly ... expect 30 mins per wheel for a decent result.

remember.... those semi's are HUGE..... and if they've been customized.... expect to spend a few days working on it.

$30/hr sounds good for an engine wash and rim polish
