    Hello,
    Newbie here with a question:)
After I waxed the car 2 weeks ago (Lusso Oro). I read that the sealent should be applied first. I just got Menzerna Powerlock and I wanted to strip the car from any layer of wax so I can do it right this time. I do have P21s and some reqular Maguier auto wash that I have for the foamgun....What car wash detergent should I get?
    Thanks

    DAWN DETERGENT!
but really I think you can just clay your car and itll all come off OR you can wait till your lusso wears off first to decrease the waste!

Alcohol and water, mixed 50/50. Spray and wipe down the whole car thoroughly and the protection is gone.

i would personally hold off and let the wax wear off rather then just waste that good coat of wax.

    As mentioned above:

Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss
    Chemical Guys Citrus Wash
    Alcohol 50/50
All Purpose Cleaner mixed in with your wash soap
    Dawn dish soap

    and so on . . . . .

You by any chance from Hawaii? Your screen name looks familiar.

Folks......Along those same lines, when you mention say that list by Vtec.....how much of those specified LSP removal products are you adding to a 5 gallon wash bucket. I know the 50/50 alcohol is a WOWO type application. Thanks

I just stripped my GF's Fusion with a STRONG mix of Meg's Gold Class and sprayed the entire car with Meg's APC+ mixed 4:1. Worked like a charm, never been happier to see zero beading and have the water sit on the paint.

I've been using CWC in my foam gun with an ounce of OPT power clean as my go-to LSP stripper.

I'm about to try MS Super Foam with either Power Clean or SGS this weekend.

I think the ultimate LSP strip test is trying to strip 2 or 3 coats of any collinite wax. It takes multiple soaks, APC wipedowns, and IPA wipedowns to remove any Collinite product.

I would use whatever you have. apc, dish soap, cg citrus wash, ipa, all work well. Personally I use a strong mix of apc(because it's cheap and I have lots of it) and a dab of car wash for lubricity.
