I am stuck trying to decide which is the best soap to get that foams up nice and is under $20. I am thinking between these three which is the best at producing good foam? I am leaning towards Maxisuds II because it seem like most use that. What would you guys suggest? CG Maxisuds II $20 to get it to my door (64 uses) RG PH Neutral Snow Foam $20.50 to my door (30 to 40 uses) Meguiars Super Soap $23 to my door (64 uses)
I use CG Maxi Suds II alot with my foam cannon and i like it alot. I depends on how much soap you use but you can get a really thick foam with just a little soap.
What soap do you use man? Any suggestions on how many oz or ml's to use in the bottle and how much water to add after?
Interesting, how much ml's do you use also do you have any pictures of it on your vehicle right after application?
sadly i didnt take any pictures whne i used it straight but ugh I used probably 25ml easy. It seemed to stick better when i dont mix it with a car shampoo.
Can´t remember, but i have some pictures when i used it last year. Filled up with water: After i little while: I belive i dident have til foam ajuster to the max here, so you should be able to get more foam.
Yes I could when I used it straight However another point is that I used filtered water in the foam cannon with the snow foam which could of also been the factor. Previously I filled it straight from the tap and we have quite heavy water here as you prob know. I will see if I can do a comparison without wasting too much product. I do need to wash my Mazda soon as it's being daily driven again by my mother. Maybe I'll also get a friend to bring over his car for a wash.
Darn, well I havn't even picked up the pressure washer yet so I'll play around with some soaps I got when the time comes. I was hoping to get good results with just the directions. And I thought we had super soft water?! http://www.georgiastrait.org/files/share/PDF/washsmart.pdf To the OP, maxi suds and cwg are good economical foamers I have seen lots of people use for their foam lance/cannon.
we're heavy minerals (especially iron) in our water so i believe thats hard water. i lose more hair when washing my hair here than in hong kong lol
Actually Vancouver has soft water, the tap water gives bottle water a good run for it's money. Now here in Calgary this is hard water and it shows in the foam we (try to) generate. I love going back home (Van) on my holidays after two weeks my skin isn't dry and itchy anymore.
ahh i guess the water in the foam cannon reservoir doesnt have much bearing then. I feel I have wasted money changing the filter for my land lord now LOL
