    Hi guys,

I was just looking at PTG's and was wondering what PTGs you guys use and why? I guess its important to know how much clear coat there is on a panel so which PTG's do that and how much do they cost?

    Thanks,

I also have the Highline and I think it's about $200 if I remember correctly. There are more expensive units, none more accurate as far as I'm concerned. I was busting their balls when I got mine (I picked it up at their Headquarters in Michigan) to build one as inexpensively that does plastic..he just laughed at me. :(

does the highline measure the thickness of the clearcoat as well or the total thickness only?

would you be able to provide me with a link?

Total only - Positector 200 is what you're looking at for layer break down and plastic/fiber substrate.
