I enjoy the Swissvax foam pad (black)

I also am looking at trying the LC CCS red applicator pad

I have tried the Meguiar's Gold Class pad on some of my buddies swirled up cars but find them to be a bit too stiff for MY pretty black paint. (too afraid for marring)

I don't mind spending the money for it because if it saves me from having to spend countless hours chasing imperfections in my clearcoat it's WELL worth it!

I truly do like the swissvax pads but am open to your opinions just to broaden my horizons

I too have tried quite a few applicators, the LC CCS red applicator is not bad at all.

Also used the traditional yellow foam applicators, they are okay nothing special about them.

MF applicators are quite nice too, I can't recall the brand name of the ones I have but they work quite nice.

I recently been using the German Applicators and at first they feel a bit hard but by the time your done using one on one vehicle they are quite nice to use, I'll definetly be using the German Applicators with certain wax's from here on in.

The Black Swissvax applicators are quite nice too, they seem to have a different feel...well just my opinion though.

Look forward to more feed back on this topic.

How would you compare the German app that you use for Divine compared to the LC red CCS oval applicator which seems to be the same.

are you guys talking about the oval ones or the circle LC apps? Oh on Phils site, someone left a comment about the oval ones saying that its good at first but after a couple uses its gets really soft and starts collapsing on you.

got me a little skeptical and made me think of just putting out the extra money for the German apps.

 yes I'm refering to the Lake Country CCS red oval applicators oh and the difference is exactly that, the German applicators will out last the Lake Country one, Calgarydetailed ordered two of the red Lake Country applicators and the first one didn't do so well, it was used on about 8vehicles or so and then it got demoted to dressing tires  The German Applicator can take a beating and keep on coming, I think it has to do with the other side of the German Applicator which, is rougher meant to be used with polish to polish sections by hand. But keep in mind though that I've only started using the German Applicators, we have used the red Lake Country applicators for much longer then the German Applicators.

well, I guess you could call me paranoid and crazy and even eccentric.....but I use a brand new pad every time I wax my car. Just for quality control....I feel that if you wash them the foam gets stiffer....Idk maybe its just for my peace of mind but I love the feel of a new pad every time. Makes the experience even more enjoyable:)

I know what you mean Carlos about the Swissvax pads...they are very very different (as in softer!) and they I think will remain my pad of choice.
