wet sanding????

    I really want to learn how to wet sand.
    How to learn it?
    What to prepare fot that?
    What things do i have to buy???
    is there any wet-sanding kit out there?

    Get yourself a panel from a bodyshop.
    Buy an assortment grit of papers.
    Go to town on the panel, don't be afraid to press down.
    Go over with compound and rotary/DA.
    Drink a beer and ponder your acheivement.

    Tried wetsanding for the first time last weekend with weekendwarrior. It was fun and educational...

    Read up before attempting so that have a solid theory prior to physically altering the test surface.

    I just bought all the necessary supplies and want to try it out as well, a little hard to sneak a panel into my dorm room apartment ahaha

    I am sure my roomates wouldn't be too happy with that in the living room or hearing the Makita running late at night.

    It was my understanding that, when wetsanding, you let the grit of the paper do the work, and you're aren't supposed to apply nearly any pressure.

    With that said, Kei I have a BMW hood and Merc fender sitting in my front yard if you want one :). Was gonna practice but haven't gotten around to it yet
