I haven't seen Wet Obsession mute flate at all, it really stands out on dark colored vehicles, but looks great on lighter colored ones as well.

First impression with it is very impressive.

I often think the term "wet" is overused on LSP labels but it really does have a shimmer to it. Very clean shine, on my old SS paint at least it doesn't mute or change the color. I'd say this one earns the 'wet'.

So far it is the look I prefer. One thing nobody mentions when they talk about how most of the end look is in the prep is that once the prep is very good the LSP can get a bit boring, it isn't there to come to the rescue and cover up the problems anymore so it is usually all up the the little differences in the look at that point. Some seem to have soft looks or hard shines or deep or really reflective. I prefer the look of this wax on this paint to glasur, Souveran or SuperNatural. It is clean, new looking with a real shimmer to it.
Glasur was nice and had that show car showroom soft deep look and I'll probably use it again when I get bored with the current look but I am surprised that I like this better so far. The main thing will be how it looks in a week or two after a couple of washes. I don't care if it lasts months in protection but as long as the 'just waxed' look hangs around for a bit I'll be happy. Although it is so easy to use it wouldn't take much to put another coat on after washing it.

update: Finished the whole car and now I keep finding excuses to go to the garage for things just to look at it :) A phase I see used a lot is "great wax for its price" well so far this one is great for 3 times the price.

I agree seems "wet" is just thrown on everything, but I think this wax deserves it. Made my satin silver accord look wet. Gave it a look I love and durability was good

how is it with layering? I don't want to mess up the great look it has now by trying for more but....

I always put 2-3 layers on my personal vehicles, to me, it gets deeper and wetter looking with additional layers.
