    Well, well,
Finally found a pressure washer that is worth it's salt, and you can rebuild every part of it! This is just as good of a find as my carpet extractor. Max, I will need a new seal kit (I think) at 69$ shipped. Hopefully it will work with a good cleaning (which I am giving it now).

Progress reports will be posted, but if you are looking for a quality PW, these CAT Pumps are nice. And, you can rebuild them (I think I said that already??)

And it was free (to me) but I saw one on ebay that sold for like 65$ I think?? I bet you can find other ones out there. This one is probably 10+ yrs old, but all the parts are still the same as the 'newer' models.

Only difference is the quality of the materials are better on the newer models, other than that, everything bolts right on. :applause2: Hooray for modern commercial equipment!

One tip about using high amp draw electric motor's (such as a 15 amp power washer) you need a crazy heavy duty extension cord is required. I am talking about a 12 gauge 15 amp by Rigid 25 ft was 28$ including tax. The 50 footer I had (standard orange one was probably a 9 amp but at 50 ft, it was probably adequate for 5 amp draw) almost killed the electric motor on the power washer as I tried to add more pressure. Luckily the motor shut down and tripped the breakers in the house. I couldn't quite figure it out at first because I am really just an average Joe when it comes to electricity and electric engines. (know nothing)

I also needed teflon thread for all connections (this is a good idea for any water connection) but the chemical 'injector' needed to be taken apart, cleaned, and put back together. It is now flowing, but my idea of this working as some type of giant foam lance is probably shattered.

Anyway, Action shots to come this weekend! Hopefully with a clean car and if you are thinking budget power washer make sure you're patrolling Craigslist and Ebay for one of these sweet babies.
