I picked up my Makita today. I think I'm growing up now. Hopefully the weather will be a bit nicer and I'll get to use it on yet another GTO.
Congrats on the purchase...I just got one last week and absolutely love it. Hope you get a chance to use it soon.
Take good care of her. It was actually kind of sad seeing its empty spot on the shelf, but I know she went to a good home. Keep us posted on your backing plate/pad combos. :kilt: < thats the happy rotary dance for when you cut your time in half and get insane results
LOL if all goes well I'll be working on a car Monday morning. I also need to stop by O'rielly's to see if they have any 3M backing plates.
Sweet congrats littlemissGTO :applause: :applause: Man I can't wait to see some of your details :cheerl: :cheerl:
I knew it! Once that rotary was in your hands, there was no turing bsck. Say goodbye to the UDM! Actually hold on to it because there may be a place and time for it rather than the rotary. OR...................................................................................................... You could get a Flex too!
Actually the UDM went bye bye. I'll pick up either a used PC or a Flex for those hard to reach spots. Then again I've got my Dewalt and a 3 inch BP. That should make for an interesting time.
I have had one since the start, I learned on a rotary 9227. I have never used a PC or orbital. My master said, Danielson, no need for such foolish toys, step up and be a man. Wax on wax off.
If all goes well Saturday I'll do yet another polish job on my GTO. Damned dealers. Oh well will give me more practice with the rotary and a chance to use some new product.
