nice. film starting at a G. wow. how much is average if i only want the headlights to be filmed over?
wow film starting at $1000 by where we are seems to be where most of the best guys around are doing it, but it appears that people are complaining about that...not sure why we wrap and tuck the film and we are doing custom fittings, in CA there are guys doing Clear Film hood warps and bumpers only for $3000.....
3g's is some serious bank. I'm not complaining. I never knew how much it cost, because I never looked into it. If you are doing custom work for a good price, that's cool to know. I didn't mean to offend you. If I did, I apologize :sorry:
nope you didn't at all I'm getting some slack from the bmw forums but I'm surprised I spent over $1k a few of the cars I have owned so I thought that was retail pricing in my area and the jobs were not good at all.
Phil, are you subbing it out or did you hire someone? What kind of training do they have? I have been wanting to get into ppf for a while but havent found anything close as far as schooling or anyone to teach me. What kind of film are you using? Jason
cool beans phil. i might have to hit you up for tint once i decide to pull the trigger on it. what clearbras are you using? i recently took the classes for the 3M system through sherwin williams. they're such a pain in the ass, but it gets easier after the first couple times.
Clear Bra is $850+ hear in Memphis. And Memphis is Notorious for having a bunch of cheap arsse folk's. So 1 large is not out of line for A+ Work. :shakehead: Congrats on your additional services your now providing. :headbang:
3m/ventureshield. thanks for the questions, they are in house and have been doing it for awhile. good work for sure or they wouldn't be here...
Congrats Phil, all you need is to do dent repair and you will have all the bases covered. Dent repair is very profitable.
i have a great dent guy but I send him all my work. he's the best around. all the porsche ferrari guys go to him.
phil....I'm sure you know but measure the paint on any install. IF it even smells like a repaint, have him sign a waiver. COVER all you bases. I've seen PPF lift repaints. Just cover all your bases....
Nice work, there is a guy by me that does tint and PPF who is an amazing installer as well and the last time I was there he had a 911 in there that had some work done by a crap installer and it was horrible. Huge gaps between the light cut outs and were the film started, large gaps between the film and were the panel ended. I think the only way to install it is how you guys are doing it, cut to the car and not use a pre-cut template so you can fold and tuck to make it look like it is not even there.
