When we got asked to do this detail, I felt like Nica. (With the Fire Trucks:thumb Its always nice to do something different, so when we were asked to do a Police Car, we jumped at it. Mind you, this is no average police car, this is Johannesburg's very own High speed chase vehicle. This is a Renault Megane F1 with upgraded intercooler, bigger turbo, softwear upgrade and all sorts of other goodies under the hood. The car runs on semi slicks and has a full roll cage installed. Of course, it also has a full siren and blue flashing light set up. (naturally we had to try this out in our complex. At 10h00 at night.:dupe What fun. Right, so this car was due to be in a local magazine shoot and we were meant to have started on it ages ago, which never happened. Soooo, as luck would have it, we had one evening and half the next day to sort this car out. It was in a very sorry state. We should have hit this car at least twice but only had time for a one step polish. Interior was also rushed through slightly. Process: Car washed with Sonax ultra shine. Clay was poorboys clay. Dried with DD waffles One step polish with Menz SIP and LC orange pad. Worked in at 900 then sped up to 1300 and back to 900 to try and finish off as best as possible. Well, thanks for looking.:afro:
Great work guys as usual. Man that is a very cool looking car! The 4 star really set the black off. And your work with SIP was phenomenal!
Great job on that very interesting cruiser! I have used an undercover Camaro that was all chipped up as well as a Maurader that similarly done and we also have an SS Chevy Pickup with a 'Vette engine that goes like stink and has AWD (no wheel spin and incredible pickup). It's cool to pull someone over in something like that when they have no clue. Having said all that though, my favourite was still to get paid to ride my Harley!
That is some police car. Looks like it's going fast just standing still. Out running the police days are over...WOW...:applause:
thanks JL. Carn and I are loving that 4 Star. We owe you one.:worship2: So, whens our next bottle arriving.opcorn: j/k
That sounds great. Sure the SS sounded like a monster too. Paid to ride a Harley. Where do I sign up?
i love the car, hate the tail end of it kinda throws off the flow that the front creates. excellent job!
Hope this isn't out of line.....It is intended as a Tribute to "Rustbucket"(He left some intresting Threads behind, I liked this 1) :applause: Tremendous, How would you like to look in the Rearview Mirror and see this on your A**:thud: That is the Badest Cop Car since Mad Max:headbang:
