A post that I got from a member of another forum. He said it was okay for me to post his findings.

    Pretty nice write up.

Easy to see how the swissvax has a deeper/richer color. Nice comparison:thumb:

I would hope that Saphir is better since it is double the cost.

I am receiving glasur today and will post results on this forum too, It as been over a week now and I start to see that saphir is still smooth in all area where souverain doesn't feel as smooth and some area starts to fade, I will do a beading test soon and will keep you posted, but it has been so hot here in MA!!!

i noticed there isn't much of a price diff between scuderia and saphir... anyone tried them both ?

I have heard bad reviews of the royale... Maybe because you expect so much from such product I don't, but vintage is great just a little harder to work with...
just recieve glasur: A little bit dissapointed by packaging (so hard to close and open the threads are hard to work with) and how soft it is...
But we ll see how it performs.
If you like saphir I think DD has a special offer on them, not sure if they still have them...

Scuderia is made for Italian cars /Saphir is a bit more multi purpose.

Its not a big difference, but still, its a huge difference.

i find it puzzling , it's only wax with natural oils , dont think they have those synthetic polymers, surely it can't be any different on the paint quality of italian cars and the rest of the world.

    probably just marketing i guess

Not questioning the quality of any of the products used, but I find it confusing that the Souveran photo obviously looks so much worse. Last time I checked, it's almost impossible to really see the effect and end result of a wax that is applied to a properly prepped surface unless you're looking at it live.

Again, not bashing anyone, just a mere observation.

P1 et: I am not a vendor and can care less of the results, I am a bad photograph but I made sure to give both the exact same treatment as desribed in my post, and took pistures from the exact same angle. I was surprised too but i don't think one is really worst then the other just different. But I understand your pov

everyone has a right to their own opinions.

I think dbesins was just trying to show his work more than anything.

But the shots shows what I believe is the one where the waxes are over a sealant.

I still believe that sealant over wax isn't the way to go for looks for sure and I feel this shows it.

P1et, I think you have great eyes cause most of my customers don't see it. Then I point out to them what I see and they go oh....I see it now.

It did take me about 5-10 minutes to see the difference.

I do believe its paint prep I think we all know that but I guess it shows the difference of muting the clarity , depth , gloss when applying the last step.
