Wow, that turnaround is extremely impressive considering how bad the paint looked before! Love the steel wheels...
Great work!!! :applause: Can really see the flakes popping out !! Got the same colored car with similar paint work problems. Just curious thou - i have recently bought the Menzerna PO91L Intensive Polish Surface Finishing Compound, do you reckon that it would enough for the job? Or do i need to step it up to SIP?
Thanks guys! kogenx: I have never tried that one, but 106FF wasnt enough. I used Powergloss on almost every panel, but i didnt need it actually, SIP would have done the job. Realized that afterwards ofc. Heh.
Cool thanks :thumb: ill just have to wait till i get my makita before i can try the menzerna i bought.
Well done :applause: great turn around. Hope you don't mind me asking and I'm just curious were these scratches able to be removed? Looking at the pictures looks like they were removed: Thank you for sharing with us, gorgeous detail :thumb:
No problem! Well, no, i didnt manage to remove them, its a dent actually. And the paint is removed so it's down to the base coat. But i managed to "remove" them. You an me would see them if we checked, but average Joe wouldnt see it before someone pointed at it. He repainting the whole lower body. The dent came from when the car fell off the jack (do you say that?). He was changing to those steelies when it happend.
Oh okay, I was just wondering becuase sometimes scratches look deep but in reality they are not that bad. I had my share of surface scratches that were well jus that surface scratches and I was able to remove them. But I know what you mean about a bit less notisable :thumb: Thank you for sharing eace:
