Monday I had a complete shocker booked in. A silver, I repeat silver VW R32 :shock: Break from the norm not being black and not being a 4x4, lovely. Upon arrival: I Know what your thinking................ YUMMY! On with the process.... Wheels were rinsed then pre-sprayed with AS smartwheels, aggitated with various beau technique brushes and EZ detail brush then rinsed. Sprayed with AS tardis, left to dwell then wiped and rinsed once again. All lower sections, wing mirrors, tyres, arches and engine presprayed with AS G101, relevant areas aggitated then rinsed. G101 @ work: Stragely I didnt realise that fly gutts were a yellow/orange coloured variety :? Whole vehicle rinsed thoroughly including arches, engine etc then foamed using AS brushwash. Washed using 2BM, AS autowash and refined detail lambswool mitt then rinsed. AS tardis applied to lower areas, arch lips and tail end: Wiped away residue then rinsed thorughly. Clayed using bilthambre soft clay and AS reglaze as lube: Not to bitty, just general grimey contamination. Rinsed thoroughly once again, dried with refined detail waffle towel then into the unit: Engine and arches got a nice coating of AS highstyle: Tail pipes were treated to some 00 wire wool, elbow grease and meguiars NXT metal polish. Before: After: Tyres were dressed with meguiars endurance tire gel. Wheels sealed with supagard wheel sealant: Inspection of the paint under the lights didnt look drastic at all so hand job was in order ( Oi! steady on you at the back :shock: ) Cleanser of the day was a product im test running for a manufacturer right now so cleansed with product A. The finish was looking great after a simple cleanse with this new product, workaility was the same as that of swissvax cleaner fluid andcleansed the paint really well. One halogen decided to pack up The finish looked a damn site more crisper imo. Glass cleaned with AS glass clear and waffle towel. What exterior trim there was was dressed with poorboys world trim restorer. Due to the silvery lovliness I opted for a sealant in the guise of finish kare fk1000p: And here she is: On to the interior. Simple procdure of thorough vac out of whole interior working with meguiars side lock detail brush and dodo juice Mr pink duster glove. All interior wiped down with weak AS G101, leather treated to AS leather conditioner and buffed up with microfibre towel. Floor matts cleaned with AS berry brisk, meguiars upholstrey brush and wiped dry with microfibre towels. Glass on the interior was polished with valetex glass polish. Before: After:
