Last week the family and I were down in Kissimmee. I got dragged to the Target store and decided to check out the auto section. I bought a vroom drying towel that I keep reading JL rave about. I tried buying one in Detroit a few weeks ago, but they were out...probably snapped up by Jason or Yukon or another local DB'er. I washed it when I got back and used it the other day for the 1st time. MAN AM I IMPRESSED. I did not expect to be (coming from Target and all) although I take JL's advise seriously. It held water like crazy and was so very, very soft. I will need to get one or two more, for sure! It is also easy to wring out, unlike some waffle weaves I have. Surves me right for doubting JL...now when I get some extra cash, I'll check out the Majestic Solutions line he and krschultz keep raving about....
I have one that I dropped in the driveway. Now it dries my wheels/tires. I should pick up another one.
Tip for the $$ conscious, wait until the sale. I think its what? $9 for one towel right now? During the previous sales, I got it for $4
I'm with Denzil on this one. My wife got me one for Xmas in '07, and at first I thought it was right up there with my WWs, but it seems like it lost a bit of it's performance over time. I don't know, maybe it's just me. I use it for door jams and such now. Still prefer my WWs from DD. Things work every time, so I just really have no interest in trying anything else.
I have about 8 of them and really love them. They out perform every other drying towel I have ever had. The one that comes the closest to the Vroom towel is the Miracle Dryer from CGs. For the money and ablility you really can't beat them. I had a couple of extra that I had put back incase one of my customers wanted a good drying towel and I could sell it to them. The other day I put them in my collection and I'll just tell someone where to buy one if they want a good one. Glad they worked out for ya Richy!
They are pretty nice. In fact i have picked a few of them up. I still prefer the WW. I just can believe one will dry my whole truck.
