VooDoo's "Shed", 56k'ers no way.

I wont post up everything in one hit ill do it over a few weeks as there are a heap of photo's as we renovated. If i accidentally include a logo or name please PM me and ill remove it. Im cut and pasting this off another forum i posted it on

Day 1....

Due to excessive workload and lack of space in my existing shops (Gabba Moorooka and Coopers Plains) I finally bit the bullet and signed the lease on a new 600m2 free standing shed. It had been vacant for a little while but has the main features i was looking for although its an older shed (tilt slab would be nice but twice the price).

ie
Council approved wet bays (room for doing multiple cars)
Council approved pit and separator.
Room for 8 Dry bays
3 phase power
Air cond offices
Lunch room, Laundry, Shower and Toilets plus a small kitchen
Secure (alarms, security bars on doors and windows, fully fenced and large gates with barbed wire)
Large tiled area for pool table, pinball machines, bar, barista, plazma etc

Oh, and close to my main customers being in the middle of the Moorooka Magic Mile.

After a paintjob and reno the plans include a hoist, hot water gurni, full workshop setup with Air compressor, benches, drill press etc.

Day 2 and 3 updates

First up, I need to lay some besser blocks

Man that is awesome I dream daily of being able to open a shop for detailing and having a room for the family to come and spend some time helping dad out like they use to when I had a garage. Wish you the best with everything

 

It has a kitchen too? Can't ask for more! Stock that fridge with some meat pies or something :giggle:...man I'm hungry.

 

We actually have 2 fridges.. one for beer, one for RUM!!

 

Another update

Stripped the shop out on Thursday night and moved all the gear into the washbay. Then acid etched the floors ready for paint. This included 4 hours on my hands and knee's with a wire brush, thinners and a chisel to get the old spilled paint and contaminants off the floor. NOT FUN!!



Back this morning for filling all the holes
