I was in Target a couple days ago... The awesome yellow vroom drying towels were on clearance!!! The large ones, normally $7.68, were on sale for $3.84. The small ones (15"x30") were on clearance for 0.87 a piece! I cleared out the small ones, and bought one large one. I'm thinking the smaller ones will be awesome for drying off wheels.
Yea the Vrooms are definitely great, I wouldn't use the drying towel on soft paint though. Mine works fine on harder paint on softer paint it leaves light marring that looks like a very faint hologram.
I normally use the RB Super Plush towel after first sheeting, then patting with a Uber WW towel. I've seen other members here say good things about them, so I figured what the hey since they were on clearance. If anything, they'll make great all purpose towels. They are about the same size as the super fly towels from Justin.
I really like there drying towels. I've found that while one target may have for sale it doesn't necessarily mean that all of there stores will have the same item for sale. Thank you for the heads up. If you blot dry the paint does this not take care of the potential marring?
I was just in Target last night and bought a 8pk of plush microfibers and a wash mitt. They were on sale for $5.84. The guy that I worked with bought some of those drying towels. They're pretty good.
I found this deal once and bought the last three they had on the shelf. I then drove all over town, hitting all the Target stores I knew of, looking for more of the same. The only place that had the $3.84 price was the original one. I guess it varies from store to store? Anyway, I like them a lot. I've never cared for WW towels. The Target ones are nice and big, and seem plenty soft to me. I use them on soft Japanese paint all the time.
Great tip! My local Target didn't have them for quite that cheap, but at $5.34/ea., I bought four of them. Some of my older drying towels have now been demoted to glass duty. Thanks for the tip!
