Also known as "Armistice Day", I would like to thank all Veteran's of our great nation who gave the greatest service to their nation during peace time and war.

In November 1919, President Wilson proclaimed November 11 as the first commemoration of Armistice Day " Veteran's Day " with the following words:

"To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country’s service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nations…"

I would like to thank all my brothers and sisters who serve just like I did from 1974-1994, 2001-2002 (Vietnam to Afghanistan) Thank you!

Thank you for your service! And a big thank you to anyone else who has served and fought for our country or is still fighting for freedom today. :applause:
