Hey Bob. What was your method/process for the rear end of the R8? I'm referring to the small section next to the vents.

Sweet cars. One cooler than the next. Are you installing clear film now?

Have a quality guy come in and do it, it takes years to get to the level I would want and I could learn if I wanted too........................and I do not have that luxury of time at this point of my career.

Car p0rn overload! Great work as always Bob! :worship2:

I wish I had a guy I could trust to do top notch work. I've thought about going to Xpel to learn how to do it myself, but I feel you're probably right on the amount of time it takes to get to that level. I literally have NEVER seen a PPF install that I was happy with! I used to work with the guy I now refer most jobs to and while he has been doing it over 15 years, it's still not the level I would like. He does wrap most of his edges but I still see blemishes in the film and the Escalade I just sent him looked pretty bad "Suntek" with blemishes, bubbles, and some lifting....

this is truly amazing work. i do notice that not many people post key areas like this to show the work, especially the tight spots such as: behind door handles (i.e. the door cups), the hidden areas in the front bumpers and rear bumpers, the underside of the side skirts/rockers, underside of the spoiler, the trunk top underneath the spoiler (most times machines don't fit in the space between), etc.

    this is money here:

Please excuse my ignorance, but what purpose do the boards under the tires serve, other then to raise up the vehicle a few inches...or is that your reason(I wouldn't think 3 inches raise would do much)?

I can raise the car a little more than three inches.
