I ordered a couple of the dispensing pumps to fit 1 gallon containers and a few for the smaller, 28mm diameter containers. These pumps were considerably less expensive than similar in appears from other online retailers, and it states that each stroke yields 1oz. of product from your container. I currently have spigots on my 1 gallon soap bottles, and am not impressed with them for this application. Too much of a mess and PITA. Took my trusty shot glass, and proceeded to confim if this would deliver 1oz. of product per stroke. Into my jug of Optimum car wash went the pump. A perfect 1oz. dispensing of car wash goodness. AND, if need be you can twist the pump head in and screw it down if you need it to be compressed. USPlastic Dispensing Pumps = PASS
Have them and love them, same same ones that are sold everywhere else for $4-5. Like the fact you can screw down the plunger, makes it easier to store.
I have them on my gallons and they are great for thick gel like products and runny liquids. I usually use them to pump the products into smaller bottles.
I bought my pumps like that from Wal-Mart. Over by the condiment section. They are used for bulk ketchup, mustard, and such.
