I'm trying to fix some small spots on 2001 Focus where it looks like the paint is slowly peeling. I have a book that says to rub the area with paintwork renovator or a very fine cutting paste, apply coats of paint, and blend it with the same products. I have the paint. I also saw this. I've seen things that say you can should use clear coat at the end? I'm lost. Got a lot of stuff to fix on this car and I'm a beginner detailer but I am a mechanic.
