Has anyone tried using the new T5 florescent fixtures with 6500k bulbs for correction work? They are a little on the pricey side compared to T8 fixtures, but I believe they might be a better option.

What king of lighting Do you use for light coloured cars? Our three cars are silver with the one in my correction thread http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/show-shine/31565-my-first-correction.htm being the darkest, and the 370z in my avatar being the lightest. I'm trying to improve my shop lighting and wondering if I should bother with the T5's which would be mounted on the ceiling approx 9-10ft high or just buy a good LED flash light to go with what I presently have.

Thanks Bryan. I'll try running the car in and out of the garage next time to get some of that natural light.

Sounds stupid, but it really is. For regular holograms, you can catch them with a Fenix, but when they are very light, the sun is the only real thing that works. The easiest fail safe thing is always use a finishing polish, and then you should be golden. You bought a PC, you shouldn't have any issues other that light marring on softer paints.
