Used the foam gun on my Mustang this morning. Man was it freezing in Az this morning! Anyways, I didn't really measure the OPT soap I put in the canister, but I feel as if I roughly put in 2 oz and 8 oz of water. I used the 3rd hole on the Gilmour, not exactly sure what setting it was but I liked the way it foamed up. Then used the 2 bucket method with OPT shampoo. I rinsed on the spray setting with the hose than proceeded to take the nozzle off and use the sheeting method. Fired up the Homelite blower and dried the rest of it. Noticed tree sap all over my paint...wonderful. Now I am going to dilute Zep 4:1, spray the entire car with it, let sit, and either rinse or buff off with MF's. I will than either try out the Scholl polish on an Uber green or simply re apply some HD wax. Thoughts, comment, or banter is appreciated. Just wanted to basically vent about the tree sap and pick everyones brains about dilution ratios of shampoo in the foam gun, process for removing tree sap as well. Cheers, Sean

honestly, its soap.... I dont worry about ratios on it, becuase its cheap. I have a foammaster2 and i use CG maxi suds, I put maybe a shot glass full of soap in my gun, washed my care and still had about the same amount left LOL. anyways, Im sure some people will break it down into ratios, but I think that is splitting hairs.
Hmm, alright. Well, I think I may wait to remove the sap after we move into our new place because what's the point in cleaning the sap when it's more than likely happen again? Idk, any thoughts in this?
