Hi Fellas :hi: Firstly let me show you guys the car in question here.

    It's a 2007 Impreza WRX STI Spec C

In case you are wondering, it doesn't look like that now. This was before i took delivery of her. :D

Anyway, as it is a Spec C (Subaru language for lightweight), there are no sound deadening, underseal or whatsoever.

I was wondering what are my options to keep the underbody and wheel archs in top shape for many years to come. Or if it's even necessary for me as I'm from Singapore and we don't have winter, so the worst element the undercarriage will see is rain and mud. Correct me if i'm wrong, but the wheel archs are more in need of protection than the underbody for my situation? I'm worried that with time, the archs may rust due to the stones being kicked up by the tyres.

I've read that products like Bilt Hamber Dynax S50 and Chemical Guys Bare Bones (this is more like a detailing spray?) are being mentioned quite frequently. Are there any other options that would suit me? These look like they work great, but are they alittle overkill for my application?

Thanks in advance for any help! :thumb:

There should be an antirust coating from factory but yeah barebone I just a detailer for undercarriage that has plastic covers I believe
I wouldn't worry unless u live near the sea or go into contact of sea water
If you are worried buy rust bullet and paint it or just wash the under carriage n fenders once in a while
