Uber 3" backing plate

Does this Uber 3" backing plate from DD work with the GG 6" Polisher?

Is it better to go this way with some Uber pads or to pick up the 3" GG altogether?

Yeah the backing plate will work.

As far as buying the 3" polisher, I guess it depends if you really have to get in to some tight spots. but the regular GG polisher, smaller backing plate, and pads should be just fine.

 

i have that bp on a 7336 and ihave only had one or two spots i could not get into

 

Whats the smallest pad that this B.P take? I asked Phil awhile ago and he said G.G 3" pads won't work on this.
