Towel separation fever

First it started with accumulating massive amounts of MF towels. Although I had tons of MF, there's always a better towel, a plusher towel, a more "water hungry" towel to purchase. Waffle weave or plush? Thick pile or thin? Thick on one side and thin on the other? Or dedicated thick ones and two-sided thin ones. Maybe permanently assign different tasks to towels by color. Terry towels have their place in the detailing towel hierarchy. Heck, I'll buy them all!
Then separation fever kicked in. I started by separating the towels used for wax from the others. Made sense to me, didn't want to contaminate the other towels with wax, which retards water absorption. I even wash them separately.
Terry towels of course must be separated from MF towels.
Then I separated the drying towels from all the others. I figured absolutely no product should contaminate the drying towels. Then, towels used for glass got their own storage. And hmmmm, maybe they too should be washed separately.
Towels for interior dressings separate from all others. Wheel and tire towels with stains of course need to be separated. Those too go in a separate wash.
Then what about glaze towels from sealant towels? Interior from exterior use towels? Oil based product use towels from water based used towels? Exterior sealant towels?
Not only stored and washed separately, but hamper-wise too.
Help! I'm suffering from separation anxiety! :thud:

Lol! That's one of my favorite hobbies, arranging and re-arranging all of my detailing supplies.
