So, my detail that I traded for some computer work was on a brand new '08 Mustang GT in Torch Red, non metallic. I only did the paint detail. My first inspection of the car showed some light swirls, and some light water spots. Boy was I wrong. Turns out the car sat on the dealers lot for at least 10 months. Sprinkler were hitting the drivers door. Heavy waterspots all over the car. Real tough. Method: Owner washed. Clayed with Gray Adams Clay + Mothers QD. Polished with SIP on White (hood & good side) and Green (bad side) LC CCS Refined with 085rd on White Cleaned with Menz Top Inspection. Sealed with JS 109 Topped with Zymol Concours Finished with Zymol Field Glaze and some Adams QD. Tweaked with Adams In/Out on the Grille and mirros, and Adams Under Carriage Spray in the wheel wells. Additionally, I used a TON of CG Orange Ultra MFs, 3m Sun Gun, Flex, and Positec PTG. Special Thanks to Phil from DD for the products! Pics: Keep in mind, my photo skills suck, and I spend more time working than taking pictures. Before: (Hood had some work, notice how dull the door is) 50/50's on the hood: Afters: Drivers Door: Enjoy!
Looks great man. Sometimes I wish I had gotten a red mustang, then sometimes I wished I had gotten a silver one. Looks sweet though!! Great work!!!!
Thanks. The car looks spectacular in the day. Its "Arrest Me Red" if I've ever seen it! All the after shots were in the late evening so they really don't do the car justice.
