Hi guys Atm my car is still wearing a coat of naviwax dark and it's holding up extremely well. Its the best wax ive used to date in durability and maintaining its look, and hasnt left any water spotting through record spring rainfall and 30 degree celsius days However, i have pin souveran and im itching to see how it looks, and if it can add anything to the look Im looking through my QDs and cant really see one i can use after a wash to clean the paint and not leave behind any wax or polymers. So was thinking about using my Top Inspection. From what ive read its designed to be used during correction stage to remove polishing oils, so does it contain a percentage of alcohol? I bought off a local detailer a spray with 15% alochol but i think that may be too harsh and damage the coat of naviwax?
If you want to get the true look of Souveran, why not remove the Naviwax? You can always re-apply if you don't like the Souveran. Souveran won't last more than a month anyway.
Souv. From what I'm told really stands out on deep reds and blues. Your car is non metallic black wearing a wax that is specifically designed for black finishes. I don't think your going to benefit from adding souv on top or applying it alone at all.
i know, but i have more carnaubas than fortnights in the year, and i have to test them somehow :shead: im really enjoying this naviwax as a base coat, its working really well in protecting the paint, better even than 476s
Souveran was designed for all dark colors, including black. Looked awesome on the S5, but didn't last long. For you that seems optimal as you change LSP's like I change jeans lol.
as long as theyre not skinny leg mate :catfight: the "lack of" durability in souveran is why i thought its a good opportunity to test it out with naviwax as my base coat, and given ill be doing a full correction over the holidays when i get my new spanking wheels the only thing is, because ive let my car go 3-4 weeks in between washes, i want to run over it with a QD before applying the souveran, and one that doesnt leave any gloss enhancers etc, so i can see the true finish and this has steered me towards using Top Inspection
