Are SIP and Power Finish too close in cut. I see there is a difference of .3, would this be noticeable? I have Power Finish on order, but I want a stronger Menzerna polish. Would it be worth buying SIP as well? Would I be better off just purchasing Powergloss instead of SIP?
i suggest getting SIP. If done right you can finish down SIP and then follow it with 106fa. Power gloss to power finish might not give you the results you want. Power finish is great for one steppers.
I feel like SIP def has more cut. I remember how easily it polished out defects on a few benz's i did. on a black car you will notice that SIP wont finish down as well as power finish. If you dont mind spending the $$ id say buy all the menz ppolishes lol thats what i did when i started. i actually dont have intensive polish but Power Gloss, SIP, 106fa, 85rd. those with many different pads is all i need. then again if you'd like you can replace power gloss and sip with M105 which cuts like a compound but finishes more like a polish. hope this helped and made sense its almost 3am here and im half asleep lol
No, it definitely did. I have 105, but just wanted to expand my products while there are some sales going on, and I don't like the short work time of 105. Thank you very much, I will probably end up buying both.
I'm with you on not liking the short work time with M105. Even shorter being out in Hawaii in the heat and humidity. I have been wanting to try Power Finish as like mentioned above it is great for 1 steppers. SIP is a great product . . . . . you can work it for a while and a little goes a long way. Power Gloss i heard tends to dust really bad and does not finish down all to well. I have talked to a buddy of mine who says it creates more work LoL. All and all i would go SIP and Power Finish
SIP is a nice product. If you're not happy with it, you would have no trouble selling it or trading it. Alot of people use it.
