To complete the Airvantage collection...

Well you guys remember me ordering the 5inch Air Vantage right:





I got the opportunity to use the 5inch Air Vantage sander on a vheicle and loved it!!

Since I enjoyed it so much I couldn't resist on ordering it's little brother:














This is how the machine looks like with just the interface pad and the 3inch backing plate..looks good huh.

Now here is how it looks like with a 2000 Grit Abralon sanding disc:


Oh and I also got some additional 2000 Grit Abralon sanding discs:




Just in time because there is a car show coming up and we (Justin, Mike and my self) have been contacted to detail the vehicles being entered in the car show :cheerl:

I look forward to putting this new sander to good use :cheerl:

Not sure on the exact price but it's in the $120 to $150 price range..I think :shead:

 

You're a hard guy to like sometimes. You know that, right? Where would I get something like that. Hmmmm.....

 

Oh that reminds me my good friend FMINUS got this one for me, he lives really, really close to the company that manufactures them so he was kind enough to get this sander for me, great price too.

There are lots of online companies that cary these sanders, with reasonable price range too.

After I used the 5inch sander, I knew I had to get the 3inch. Really made a big difference and the Abralon sanding discs perform extremely well, so you know me, always needing back up :shrug:

 

Wow! That machine looks quite nifty. I can't wait to see what comes out of it later

I smiled at the "nifty" comment lol...reminds me of Odis from Barn Yard movie :giggle: I'm looking forward to putting this sander to good use, those vehicles being entered in the car show should have a few scratches where I can put the sander to good use, I hope :beg:

lol..I would have to agree, it is cute and it feels great on your hands...well I've just been manhandling for a few hours...wish I had my large compressor in the garage so I could play with the sanders at home...but I need to do the garage floor first....waiting for spring to arrive :waiting2: :waiting2:

Take your time obtaining items, there's no point on getting things if your not going to use them or don't know how to use them. I literally took me a few years to get comfortable with wet sanding to finally step up to these sanders....work at a steady pace and gather things as your skills improve :thumb:

They sure do make wet sanding easer :cheerl:
