I am looking for suggestions on tire spray, for tires obviosly, that I can just go around and spray the tire and right away it is the shiniest that the customer has seen and then we can focus on steaming the rims of the car.

want to eliminate the whole scrubbing he tire bit.

so far I have tried meg's tire spray that costs a wopping 9.50 dollars per can and it only has done 6 cars so far and I would be very supprised if I got a 7th car out of it.

    so....

I need something that is in a can, that I can buy in bulk and we can just spray the tires down super fast and it will not splatter all over the paint when the customers drive down the road.

spraying he tires would be the first thing we do to give the product time to settle into the tire as oppoused to sitting on the service and dripping off.

    any ideas?

    thanks,

    godoman

ps, by the way, the meg's NXT looks absolutely, and I mean absolutely amazing and the guys at the shop I bought it from said they gauruntee that it will stay like that for four weeks straight despite the rainy weather we have in the northwest. I really need a cheap economical product that does this same thing. if I have to use this and just raise the price than that is what I will do

why do you need that "sythetic shine"??? It doesn't attrack attention, it actually takes attention away from it...
Try something with a matte finish, like Showrom FX white pearl (tropi-care), it is much better IMO... and is VERY COST EFFECIENT too...

I tried the matte look and I actually prefer it but there are two things to consider.

one is that my customers boarderline demand the shinny look.

second is that I can not find a matte product line that comes in a spray can so that I can just zip around from tire to tire

optimum tire shine not the optibond. the reg one is great if you like the matt look use one coat in a spray bottle 2 coats if you like it more of a shine. i love this stuff. swissvax is also good but not cheap.

Stoner's More Shine Less Time (or whatever it is called). If you buy in bulk, it drops to $3.41 a can with free shipping, if you order the specific pack without mixing other products in there. (12 Can case it says)

    12 Can Case (Item # 91044) - $40.87 plus FREE S&H

They often have coupons for $10 off the next order, which would REALLY make this offer cheap. Do a google search.

I can't remember the last time I used it but I'm pretty sure it does. It looks like it from the pictures, I've been trying to find a good review.

I used the nxt insane tire shine dressing and my customers absolutely love that stuff. it is 9.50 a can and if I can get it for half price then I think it would be worth it. I just do not like the customer's knowing what I am using. kinda gives away the business know how, if you know what I mean

    godoman

the meg's nxt insane tire shine is the wet look I am looking for and it is not spraying off of the tires on to the customers paint as long as it sits min 5 minutes. if I can get anything that gives these results I am all over it, especially if it comes in a spray can where I can move super fast.

The shiniest dressing i have ever used it meg's hyper dressing straight. Reflect will tell you how shiny that is.

  12. Why does it have to be in aresol can. You can do it just as quick, use alot less product and save money if you just trigger spray with app pad in other hand :waiting2:

i haven't found any benefits to aerosol on tires, excpet that it gets crap all over your wheels....oh, wait lol!

armor-all extreme tire dressing is ridiculously shiny, but it's a gel...so looks a little goey. I'm loving Duragloss 253, but that's on the matte side of things.

Tire Dressing in a can.....No bueno, crap get's all over my car even after wipe down. And don't let a 0.01MPH breeze come by. Phil's strategy would be best...doesn't take but an extra 15 seconds per tire.

As far as shiny in an aerosol I'd have to agree with Reflect in using Stoners More Shine and if bought in bulk like he said it's really cheap. But let me get this straight you want something you can spray on a tire without cleaning it first? You said you wanted to cut out the whole scrubbing the tire thing in the original post. I guess if you are going to leave the tire dirty then you really have no choice but to go with an aerosol that will cover up the dirt, just not sure that's the most prudent thing to do.

Its not a spray but for me, I put some PoorBoys Bold and Bright in a small 4 oz. twist nozzle bottle and squeeze it onto a curved tire dressing applicator and apply. 3 minutes later when I am done, I stand back, admire for a couple of minutes and then go inside crush some ice and make a pina colada.

PoorBoys Bold N Brite, my personal fav. Swissvax Pneu is great, too expensive though. I save that for the rubber moldings and Christmas details.

agree that megs hyper straight is shiny. must be wiped in to avoid sling. i use it at 1:1 all the time. just shiny enough for me. waiting for the zane wheel shield to arrive so i can have some spray fun too.

Stoner's is nice shiny tire shine... I have trouble finding it out my way... I do use the CG Extreme shine but it dries to look Matte on tires, which I prefer anyways now:)
