ok so i decided to try adam's vrt and absolutely love it. it leaves exactly the finish i like. deep black but not overly glossy. the question i had is - do any of you have any tricks for getting a non-spray on dressing into the little spaces in the tread near the edge of the tire? i thought about using a brush, but thoughts that might take a really long time. something i thought of was misting the edges with a less expensive product like vinylex of something just to get some color into those spaces before i treated the tire with vrt. what do you think?
Swissvax Pneu brush for me. maybe dilute some of the same dressing to be able to spray it? I do that with optibond.
for me i have all terrain tires . and what i do is go around the tire with a microfiber towel. wiping the nooks and cranies. then after i get to a show of course if theres anysling i wipe the paintwork gently with a fluffy microfiber and q/d.. this seems to work great
Just turn it into a spray-on dressing. You can dilute Adam's VRT 1:1 with water and run it through a spray bottle.
I actually never thought of that one. I do have an extra small spray bottle laying around. I"m going to give that a shot.
I use a paint pad to apply dressing. Gets into the outer edge of the sidewall. Was getting tired of shredding the foam applicators. Use the paint pad to work the dressing into the lettering and to even out the application.
